5/16/2008 - Baseball With an Atlantic 10 postseason berth already in hand, the St. Bonaventure baseball team took another step in improving its chances for a better seed at next week's tournament as it took game two against Richmond, 14-6, on Friday afternoon at Pitt Field. With the victory, the Bonnies bumped their win total to 29 on the season, just one win shy of tying the program record (30) set in 2002. Bonnies clinch A-10 Championship berth with 7-2 win at Richmond The St. Bonaventure baseball team is heading to the Atlantic 10 Championship for the third season in a row and eighth time in program history thanks to sealing a spot in the six-team field following a 7-2 victory over Richmond on Thursday afternoon at Pitt Field. The Bonnies (28-21, 14-11) will remain in Richmond for the next two days to finish the final regular season series of the season before traveling to Camden, N.J. for the 2008 A-10 Tournament beginning on Wednesday, May 21. more
NJCAA Tournament MVP Jonathan Hall inks NLI The busy spring continued for the St. Bonaventure men's basketball team on Wednesday, as Jonathan Hall (Miami, Fla.), a sophomore guard from South Plains Community College, signed a National Letter of Intent. Hall's stock sky-rocketed during his sophomore campaign at South Plains, as he led the Texans to a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division 1 National Championship while earning the Tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP) honors. more
